KEYWORD: Statistics, survey data +++++++++++++++++++++ Fellowship overview As a member of the Data Analysis and Quality Assurance Branch, the Associate Service Fellow will contribute to all aspects of preparing, analyzing, and disseminating the annual NHIS microdata. This involves reviewing data quality, developing data edit and programming specifications, planning and conducting data analysis, providing technical consultation and advice to data users and colleagues, developing tables and graphics for data presentation, and preparing standard and specialized studies for NCHS reports and scientific journals.
Terms of appointment The Associate Service Fellow will be offered an initial 15-month appointment, with potential for extension up to 2 years. A starting date will be determined by mutual agreement. An initial salary of $62,467 to $97,333 will be offered based on education and experience. Salary increases will be commensurate with performance.
